An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Quality Technician to join a growing manufacturing business. This role supports the Quality Department in meeting higher quality standards, offering training in welding requirements, general inspection, ISO qualifications, and auditing. With no limits on development, this role allows for professional growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Department in maintaining and improving quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and audits in line with ISO requirements.
- Measuring of bespoke components using inspection equipment.
- Assist in identifying areas for improvement in workflow, organisation, and quality processes.
- Learn and apply welding requirements and general inspection techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with the Quality Manager to learn the audit requirements and process.
Requirements:
- Graduate in Engineering discipline or relevant HNC/HND
- Willingness to learn, strong work ethic and driven attitude
- Knowledge of QC / Quality inspection is advantageous
- Knowledge of Quality / ISO Standards is advantageous
- Full eligibility to work in the UK
Location – Leyland
Permanent – £14 per hour (£26,936) + Overtime at x1.5
Full Time – 0730-1600 (Mon-Thurs), 0730-1230 (Fri) – 37 hours + Overtime
Benefits – 25 days + Bank Holidays, pension, progression opportunities.
