We are currently working with a Global name in the nuclear energy sector seeking a Project Manager for a Nuclear Waste Project on an initial 6-month contract. The position offers an immediate start with a competitive rate of approximately £50.00 per hour ltd. This home-based role requires occasional travel to client offices near Oxford and is likely to fall outside IR35, subject to a CEST test. This role is ideal for a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record in technology or delivery-based programmes.

The candidate should excel in managing full project lifecycles, possess strong familiarity with project management software tools, and demonstrate expertise in risk and change management. Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate complex projects are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage individual service packages and project scopes in accordance with agreed plans and deliverables.
  • Address interdependencies and interfaces with other service packages, projects, stakeholders, and authorities.
  • Represent or deputise for the Programme Lead or Senior Project Manager.
  • Coordinate and manage workshops, monitoring and reporting progress against scheduled activities.
  • Proactively manage changes, risks, issues, opportunities, and dependencies.
