We are currently working with a family run business who are known Globally for the manufacturing and supply of specialist furniture. They have an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to play a key role in the development and optimisation of products from initial concept to final production. This role would be ideal for a recent graduate or a junior engineer in a design or engineering-related role. If you are passionate about product development, eager to gain hands-on experience, and enjoy working in a collaborative and purposeful environment, this position would be a perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance new and existing products using CAD and other design tools
  • Create and test prototypes, selecting appropriate materials for manufacturing
  • Manage assigned product development projects from start to finish
  • Provide technical support across departments and liaise with suppliers when necessary
  • Produce detailed technical documentation including assembly drawings, specifications, and reports
