ES Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Utilities Engineer / Maintenance Technician to join a leading FMCG manufacturing site based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to join a busy, fast-paced environment.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Regional Contracts Manager, the Utilities Engineer will provide both reactive and planned maintenance support across a large FMCG production facility. You will play a key role in ensuring all utilities and site services remain operational to support production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide reactive engineering support and planned maintenance activities
  • Carry out fault finding, repairs, testing and inspections
  • Support production and engineering teams with maintenance issues
  • Assist other engineering trades where required
  • Ensure site utility services remain fully operational
  • Monitor and maintain environmental compliance standards
  • Participate in on-call and emergency response rota
