We are working with an industry leading engineering firm who specialise in manufacturing engineered products for construction and infrastructure markets. Working on their largest manufacturing facility, we are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage its cut-and-bent and fabrication operations. This pivotal role ensures end-to-end production efficiency, from intake to delivery, with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement across processes and teams. This position is ideal for a seasoned operations manager with a strong background in metal fabrication. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working across cross-functional teams, implementing lean principles, and driving results in a fast-paced, technical environment where quality and safety are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of cut-and-bent and fabrication operations, ensuring production targets, efficiency, and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with planning, transport, and sales teams to align production with demand and support business goals.
  • Oversee maintenance coordination to minimise downtime and ensure asset optimisation.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement using lean and smart manufacturing techniques.
  • Maintain strict compliance with CARES standards, environmental policies, and safety regulations.

In return you’ll receive a salary up to £90k + Car allowance, 28 days holidays + Bank Holidays, Site Bonus and Private medical amongst other benefits.
