This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering environment, working on high-tolerance components using both manual and computerised measurement techniques. Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect machined components using CMM and Romer Arm equipment
  • Carry out first-off and FAIR inspections in line with aerospace standards
  • Perform manual inspections to technical drawings and specifications
  • Support the Quality Manager with non-conformance investigations
  • Complete calibration of measurement tools and maintain documentation

Requirements:

  • Proven inspection experience using CMM within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
  • Aerospace experience desirable but not essential.

Salary £33,000 per annum. Permanent Location: Preston

Benefits: 25 days + Bank holidays, Death in service benefit paid at three times your annual salary, pension contribution, health insurance and Access to an Employee Assistance Programme.
