This role supports quality, safety, health and environmental compliance across engineering and manufacturing projects, ensuring processes, systems and deliverables meet strict regulatory, customer and industry standards. Working closely with operational, engineering and project teams, the position focuses on governance, supplier compliance, continuous improvement and maintaining robust management systems within a highly regulated environment. The role would suit a detail-oriented QSHE professional with experience in engineering, manufacturing or other regulated sectors such as nuclear, defence, aerospace or heavy industry, who enjoys driving standards, supporting audits and governance activities, improving processes and collaborating across teams to promote a strong culture of compliance, safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain company quality, safety and environmental management systems.
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory and industry standards across projects and manufacturing activities.
- Assist with internal and external audits, supplier assessments and compliance reviews.
- Manage non-conformances, corrective actions and root-cause investigations.
- Support document control, quality records and governance reporting activities.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, production and project teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining inspection and compliance documentation including ITPs and LTQRs where required.
- Promote a positive QSHE culture across the business and support adherence to company procedures and best practice.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a QSHE, SHEQ, Quality or Compliance-based role.
- Experience working within manufacturing, engineering or highly regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, compliance and governance processes.
- Experience supporting audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
- Nuclear industry experience desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001) would be advantageous.
Salary: £45k - £50k (dependent on experience)
Location: Winchester with Travel - Mileage + Expenses paid
Permanent: Full time - Monday- Friday
