We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join a leading engineering business supporting critical projects within the nuclear sector. This role will focus on the development of mechanical design solutions, producing high-quality engineering drawings and supporting the delivery of complex projects within a highly regulated environment. This position would suit a Mechanical Designer with experience in detailed design environments who enjoys solving technical challenges and developing innovative engineering solutions. It will appeal to someone who is confident using CAD software, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to projects from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed mechanical designs and engineering drawings in accordance with ISO standards and project requirements
  • Develop innovative design solutions and resolve technical and production-related design issues
  • Support design reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Coordinate design activities and contribute to the successful delivery of engineering projects
