We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Environmental Advisor to join a leading manufacturing and engineering business. This role will provide subject matter expertise across environmental management, energy management and sustainability, supporting the continual improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 management systems while driving environmental performance and compliance initiatives across the organisation. This position would suit an Environmental professional with experience managing ISO 14001 systems and supporting sustainability initiatives within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment. It will appeal to someone who enjoys driving continuous improvement, working with stakeholders across a business and delivering meaningful environmental and energy performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve Environmental and Energy Management Systems in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 requirements
  • Lead internal and external audit activities, ensuring certification and compliance standards are maintained
  • Monitor and report environmental and energy performance data, KPIs and improvement initiatives
  • Support sustainability, carbon reduction and resource efficiency programmes across the business
  • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, reporting requirements and regulatory obligations
