Exciting Opportunity for an Access Engineer! This company is seeking a skilled and motivated Access Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time permanent role that offers a competitive starting rate of £160 per day, with opportunities for progression based on performance. The Access Engineer will be an integral part of a team dedicated to delivering reliable access solutions.
Key Responsibilities of the Access Engineer:
- Install, configure, and commission access systems, including automated gates and intercoms.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical security gates, barriers, and entry systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults across gate automation, intercoms, and basic network connections.
- Service and maintain audio/video intercom systems, including IP-based systems.
- Carry out upgrades to gate motors, control panels, and access control equipment.
- Ensure all systems comply with relevant electrical and safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Provide timely responses to breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
- Maintain accurate service records and report on completed work.
- Work independently and collaboratively to deliver effective access solutions.
Qualifications for the Access Engineer:
- A full clean UK Driving License is required.
- Previous experience in access systems installation and maintenance is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
