This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabrication Workshop Supervisor who has experience in structural steel, to join a well-established and dynamic steel fabrication business based in the M28 area of Walkden. The company delivers high-quality fabrication and erection services for a range of building structures, from small-scale jobs to complex construction projects. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and precision, the team provides bespoke steelwork solutions from design through to site installation.

This position would suit a hands-on and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in metal fabrication and welding. The ideal candidate will be an experienced supervisor who enjoys leading a workshop team, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in delivering work to exacting standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily workshop operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and high-quality output.
  • Interpret manufacturing packages, produce cutting lists, and manage material ordering.
  • Fabricate metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques to precise specifications.
  • Manage and motivate the workshop team, delegating tasks and monitoring progress.
  • Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with ISO quality standards.
