Structural Steel Welders – Hartlepool – Immediate Starts
Pay: £17.00 per hour PAYE / £21.00 per hour CIS
Long‑Term Work | Structural Steel | Immediate Interviews Available
- Welding structural steel components
- Completing fillet welds – single and multi‑run
- Working with plate thicknesses from 8mm to 30mm regularly
- Working on heavier fabrication: 70mm fillet welds, 100mm butt welds
- Working from engineering drawings
- Using overhead cranes within the workshop safely
Working Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 07:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 07:30am – 4:00pm
- 30‑minute unpaid break daily (12:00pm – 12:30pm)
Requirements
- Previous structural steel welding experience
- Confident completing single and multi‑run fillet welds
- Experience within heavy fabrication environments
- Able to work from engineering drawings
- Competent using overhead cranes
- Reliable and safety conscious
Interview Process
- One‑stage interview conducted by Richard Everton
- Includes overhead crane test and weld test: 8mm single‑run fillet weld, multi‑run fillet weld on 10‑15mm plate
- Interviews can be arranged the same day
