Location: Bredbury, Stockport

Pay: £20.00 per hour PAYE / £26.50 per hour Umbrella

Contract: Temporary - initially 1-3 months, likely to be extended

Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-6:00pm (12-hour shifts)

Overtime: Weekend overtime available at standard rate

Introduction: ES Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a busy manufacturing operation based in Bredbury, Stockport. This is a hands-on temporary position, initially for 1-3 months with a strong possibility of extension, and would suit an experienced Warehouse Manager who is confident working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The warehouse has approximately 15 members of staff, who will continue to report directly to the Head of Operations. Your role will be to take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operation, maintain a strong shop-floor presence and ensure materials continue to flow efficiently through the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day running of the warehouse
  • Oversee goods in and goods out activities
  • Ensure production lines are supplied with the correct materials and kits
  • Maintain accurate stock records and movements using Business Central
  • Monitor stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies
  • Keep materials flowing efficiently throughout the manufacturing operation
  • Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the warehouse floor
  • Resolve operational issues quickly to minimise disruption
  • Work closely with the Head of Operations and wider production team
  • Help maintain an organised, efficient and safe warehouse environment
