An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join a well-established company in the FMCG machinery industry. This company is renowned for its expertise in the industry and is seeking a motivated individual to drive sales across Europe and other territories. The Area Sales Manager will play a crucial role in achieving the company's sales targets and profit margins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow sales across an assigned territory while identifying new business opportunities and developing existing accounts.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, and maintain close communication with customers throughout the contract execution.
- Conduct extensive travel to clients throughout SEU regions, with occasional worldwide travel.
- Prepare and execute a regular sales visit plan, and represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and conventions.
- Provide sales training and support to staff, agents, and distributors, while maintaining an ongoing dialogue with clients for technical and commercial follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar sales role, with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel for 1-2 weeks monthly within the UK and to the EU.
- Results-driven with strong organizational skills and the ability to work from home with reliable communication means.
