We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to support a planned maintenance project at Blackburn Meadows Power Station, Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled mechanical fitters to secure a short-term contract on a major industrial site.
Duration: 7th June - 18th June

Scope of Works
- Removal, overhaul, and replacement of gearboxes
- Removal, overhaul, and replacement of drive shafts on rotary equipment
- Bearing changes
- Belt changes
- General mechanical fitting and maintenance work across the site
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in mechanical fitting within industrial, power generation, manufacturing, or process environments
- Experience working on:
- Rotary equipment
- Gearboxes
- Bearings
- Belt-driven systems
- Ability to work safely and effectively within a maintenance team
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and fitting skills
- A proactive attitude with a focus on quality and safety

- 39 hours = £23.23 p/hr After 39 hours & Saturday Morning = £31.86 p/hr Saturday Afternoon & Sundays = £40.65 p/hr
