This nationwide Service Engineer role involves commissioning, validation and maintenance of specialist ventilation and clean air systems across healthcare and pharmaceutical environments. Based from home with travel throughout the UK, the position requires flexibility for regular overnight stays. You will deliver technical services to strict industry standards, ensuring compliance, performance and excellent client satisfaction.
Who This Role Would Suit
This role would suit an experienced engineer with a strong electrical or controls bias who enjoys working in regulated environments. It is ideal for someone organised, self-motivated and confident dealing with clients on site. A candidate with HVAC or cleanroom validation experience, strong problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to travel will excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission, validate and test HVAC, UCV and cleanroom systems in line with ISO and HTM 03-01 standards.
- Conduct airflow testing, filter integrity (DOP) testing and environmental monitoring using specialist equipment.
- Perform Installation and Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ) protocols across healthcare and pharmaceutical sites.
- Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and ensure systems operate to specification.
- Build strong client relationships, identify additional works and liaise with office teams to support service delivery.
