We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Stress Engineer to join a specialist engineering business delivering complex projects within the nuclear sector.
This role will focus on the analysis and substantiation of mechanical designs, supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, compliant and technically robust solutions for highly regulated environments.
The role is 3 days on site in Chorley, 1 day from home.
This position would suit a Stress Engineer with strong experience in finite element analysis and classical hand calculations who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.
It will appeal to someone with a nuclear or highly regulated engineering background who is confident leading technical activities, mentoring engineers and working closely with designers and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
