We have a fantastic opportunity for Senior and Principal Waste Consultants a leading nuclear engineering and decommissioning business who to support a high-profile decommissioning programme in the UK. The company operates nationally and internationally, with expertise across waste treatment, consultancy, and site-based decommissioning services for both domestic and global nuclear clients. This role would suit professionals with a background in radioactive waste management, decommissioning, or nuclear consultancy-especially those experienced in disposability assessments, strategic waste planning, or working with NDA, Magnox or EDF environments. Candidates seeking hybrid or remote working with site travel will find this a flexible and rewarding opportunity. Key Responsibilities Lead or support delivery of waste management and decommissioning projects within time, cost, and quality expectations Provide technical advice on environmental and radioactive waste characterisation and packaging Undertake and manage disposability assessments and contribute to strategic waste planning Engage with stakeholders and waste packagers to ensure compliant and timely delivery Ensure product quality through audits and technical conformance to regulatory standards In return you\’ll receive a salary up to £55k + Car Allowance for a Senior Consultant, or £60k + Car Allowance for a Principal level role. You\’ll also get 25 days holiday (rising with tenure), 8% pension contributions and a company bonus amongst many others.
