We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector with expertise in the final inspection of painted components. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards for coatings and finishes. You will conduct inspections, identify quality concerns, and collaborate with teams to maintain a superior level of craftsmanship in painted and coated components. Key Responsibilities Perform final inspections of painted components, ensuring finishes meet customer and organisational quality standards. Conduct detailed inspections of completed parts and in-process products using tools like verniers and gauges. Review and document inspection results, ensuring compliance with customer specifications. Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to recommend corrective actions. Perform patrol audits and train others on standard operating procedures. Maintain adherence to Quality Management System procedures and Health & Safety regulations.Requirements: Proven experience in Final Inspection – preferably of Paint / Coatings. Experience within Manufacturing or Engineering environment High attention to detail Location – Northampton Salary – c£28k – £32k (negotiable – dependent on experience) Benefits – 31 days hols (inc BH), 4% pension, Health cash plan, fuel mileage for any business travel.
