We are looking for a quality control technical assistant This part-time position is based in the M28 Worsley area with a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturer producing a diverse range of ethical, organic food, drink, and beauty products. All items are crafted in a facility certified by the British Retail Consortium and the Soil Association, reflecting high standards of quality and sustainability. This role would suit a meticulous and dependable individual with prior administrative experience, ideally in a food manufacturing environment. It\'s well-suited to someone looking for steady, part-time weekday hours and who thrives in a structured, process-driven workplace. Strong attention to detail, computer literacy, and the ability to follow technical procedures are essential. Key Responsibilities Support the Technical Manager with the day-to-day running of the Quality and HACCP systems. Carry out quality checks including temperature, weight, metal detection, and packaging inspections. Maintain documentation and audit records, ensuring compliance with BRC, Organic, and Fair Trade standards. Assist with product sampling, shelf-life analysis, labelling, and traceability. Participate in internal audits and support new product development projects.Benefits Part-time, weekday hours offering a strong work-life balance.
