This role is responsible for leading the full tendering and bid submission process within a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. Working closely with commercial, engineering, and delivery teams, you will coordinate high-quality, compliant, and commercially competitive proposals whilst driving continuous improvement and supporting business growth. This opportunity would suit an organised and commercially minded professional with experience managing complex tenders, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead bid submissions from initial opportunity through to final presentation and handover. This position is ideal for an experienced Bid Manager, Senior Bid Coordinator, or Tender Manager with a background in engineering, manufacturing, defence, or other highly regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the end-to-end tender and bid submission process from opportunity through to handover.
- Coordinate engineering, commercial, and project delivery teams to develop high-quality, compliant proposals.
- Review technical and commercial submissions to maximise competitiveness and profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Bid Team whilst driving continuous improvement across bid processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support future business opportunities.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
