An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Pipe Welders to join a modern, fully digital manufacturing facility in Deeside, working on high-integrity stainless and carbon steel pipework for a major engineering project. You will be joining a skilled team in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment, producing high-quality pipe spools to exacting industry standards.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for welding stainless and carbon steel pipework throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards. Duties include:
- TIG welding stainless and carbon steel pipework
- Working on pipe sizes from 2 up to 20 diameter
- Production welding in the PA (1G) rotated position
- Working to approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Producing welds for visual inspection and NDT
- Maintaining high standards of quality, productivity and safety
- Working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment
Future opportunities may also include FCAW welding and automated welding processes.
