Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit skilled and experienced CNC Machinists to join a busy precision engineering business operating within the aerospace, oil & gas, and defence sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer producing high-precision components for highly regulated industries, offering long-term stability, overtime opportunities, and genuine career progression.
Duties include:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision-engineered components.
- Producing high-quality work to tight tolerances.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carrying out basic inspection and quality checks.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
- Supporting continuous production while meeting quality and delivery targets.
What We're Looking For:
- Time-served CNC Machinist with relevant engineering qualifications.
- Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
- Experience working with 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machines.
- Strong knowledge of CNC control systems including: FANUC, MAZAK, HEIDENHAIN.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
