Pay: £16.00 - £19.00 per hour (DOE)

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit skilled and experienced CNC Machinists to join a busy precision engineering business operating within the aerospace, oil & gas, and defence sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer producing high-precision components for highly regulated industries, offering long-term stability, overtime opportunities, and genuine career progression.

Duties include:

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision-engineered components.
  • Producing high-quality work to tight tolerances.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Carrying out basic inspection and quality checks.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
  • Supporting continuous production while meeting quality and delivery targets.

What We're Looking For:

  • Time-served CNC Machinist with relevant engineering qualifications.
  • Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
  • Experience working with 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machines.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC control systems including: FANUC, MAZAK, HEIDENHAIN.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
  • Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
