We are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable Modular Production Operatives to join a growing manufacturing business in Bamber Bridge, specialising in high-quality modular fabrication and assembly.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, construction, or finishing environments who are confident using hand and power tools and enjoy practical, hands-on work.
Shift & Pay Details
- Night Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am
- 30-minute break
- Average 46 hours per week
- £20.24 per hour
- Overtime paid after 39 hours at time and a half (£22.77 per hour)
- Ongoing contract work
- Immediate starts available
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and finishing of modular fabrications
- Preparation and painting work
- Cladding and flashing installation
- Fitting fire doors and components
- Sealing, silicone application, and finishing work
- Sub-assembly of parts and components
- Grinding, sanding, and cleaning materials prior to processing
- Using hand and power tools including drills, grinders, and rivet guns
- Moving materials using pump trucks, stackers, and overhead cranes
- Following all health & safety and quality procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience within manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or construction
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good timekeeping and reliability
Desirable Experience
- Painting and finishing
- Silicone application and sealing
- Trim fitting or cladding experience
- Modular construction or fabrication background
