We are currently recruiting 2 x General Operatives for a planned engineering outage at a major industrial site in Markinch, Fife. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced mechanical personnel to work on a short-term shutdown with attractive overtime rates.

Mechanical Scope

  • Successful candidates will support the removal, overhaul, and reassembly of a range of rotating equipment, including:
    • Gearboxes
    • Screw conveyors
    • Conveyors
    • Drive shafts
    • Associated mechanical equipment

Requirements

  • Mechanical Mate
  • Experience supporting mechanical maintenance or shutdown activities
  • Good practical skills and willingness to assist the mechanical team
  • Physically fit and safety conscious
  • Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
  • Confined Space certification desirable (basic online training can be provided if required)

Pay Rates

  • First 39 Hours: £18.90 per hour
  • Over 39 Hours: £22.68 per hour
  • First 4 Hours Saturday: £25.52 per hour
  • Saturday Afternoon & Sunday: £33.08 per hour
