An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to provide hands-on engineering support within a busy manufacturing environment.
Working on the late shift, you will support equipment maintenance, production activities and maintenance administration, helping maximise machinery reliability, minimise downtime and improve manufacturing performance as the operation continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities Respond to production equipment issues, diagnose faults and carry out repairs within your level of competency to minimise manufacturing downtime.
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM), routine inspections and support machine set-ups, changeovers, commissioning and production trials.
Manage maintenance work orders, asset information, maintenance histories and equipment documentation using Maintain X or a similar CMMS.
Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime and enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Support spare parts management, asset lifecycle activities and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe, clean and compliant working environment.
Requirements: Proven experience in Mechanical Maintenance on Production equipment.
Experience with filling, labelling and packaging machinery highly desirable.
Preventative maintenance skills.
Strong systems skills using CMMS.
