We are currently recruiting on behalf of a family run metal processing company, who are in the market for a mechanical fitter to future proof in preparation for a pending retirement in the team. Joining a small close-nit team, this roles plays an integral part in keeping the plant operational carrying out mechanical fitting and repair work to help facilitate the business as they continue to grow. The role is suited to a reliable family orientate mechanical candidate who is looking for a long-term career. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years within a mechanical role in a manufacturing/engineering environment. Qualification is not essential, although sufficient experience is required to be considered. If you have a varied skillset and are looking for a relaxed engineering role this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on a range of mechanical kit.
- Provide support with facilities management.
- Supporting maintenance and fitting of Pumps, Water Treatment, Pipework, Drill, Saws
The company offer a salary range of 32,000-34,000 based on a 37-hour week with an early Friday finish, basic pension contributions and 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
