We are currently recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Operative / Labourer to join a busy heavy engineering fabrication facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with experience using hand tools and working within a manufacturing, engineering, or construction environment.
Working as part of the production team, you will support fabrication operations through:
- Material preparation
- Finishing activities
- General labouring duties to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
Key responsibilities include:
- Sanding, grinding, and preparing steel components for fabrication and finishing
- Operating hand tools and associated workshop equipment
- Assisting skilled fabricators and welders as required
- General labouring and material handling duties
Requirements:
- Safety shoes / safety footwear required
- Physically fit for manual work
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
