We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a specialist business in the Medical Isolators industry. The role has come through growth of the business, and they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running in the industry. This is a fantastic role for a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to innovative projects and develop market-leading solutions that benefit a diverse client base.
Responsibilities include:
- Produce standard and bespoke designs for containment, aseptic, and sterile applications using Solidworks.
- Take ownership of the Project Life Cycle from product concept through to delivery with the customer.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to offer concept design solutions during the quotation and tender process.
- Work alongside other members of the Engineering Team to develop new products for emerging markets.
- Create General Arrangement drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials from scratch.
- Ensure product designs comply with regulatory requirements such as EU GMP and ISO14644.
