We are currently recruiting a Counter Balance FLT Driver for a planned engineering outage at a major industrial site in Markinch, Fife. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FLT driver to support a short-term shutdown, working initially on day shifts before transitioning onto night shifts, with attractive overtime rates available.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting site operations through safe and efficient FLT work, including:

  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment
  • Moving plant and components around site
  • Supporting mechanical and shutdown teams with logistics
  • Ensuring safe handling and storage of materials
  • General site duties as required during outage works

Requirements

  • Valid Counter Balance FLT Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
  • Proven experience operating FLT in an industrial or construction environment
  • Ability to work both day and night shifts
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented approach

Essential

  • Valid Safety Certificate
  • Confined Space certification desirable (basic online training can be provided if required)

Pay Rates

  • First 39 Hours: £18.90 per hour
  • Over 39 Hours: £22.68 per hour
  • First 4 Hours Saturday: £25.52 per hour
  • Saturday Afternoon & Sunday: £33.08 per hour
