An exciting opportunity has become available for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join a growing engineering business, providing planned and reactive maintenance support across customer sites throughout the Northwest.

The role involves working on pumping systems, treatment equipment, instrumentation, and electrical controls, offering a varied and technically challenging field-based position.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Electrical Engineer or Maintenance Electrician who enjoys working autonomously, fault finding complex systems, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Ideal candidates will have strong industrial electrical experience including PLC fault finding and be comfortable working across different customer environments.

Driving Licence essential. 2391 or equivalent preferred.

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.

Diagnose and resolve electrical faults across pumps, control panels, instrumentation, and associated systems.

Attend customer sites to investigate breakdowns and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.

Complete accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.

Provide technical support to customers and colleagues while ensuring all work meets health and safety standards.
