A full-time, permanent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a specialist industrial manufacturing facility. This role focuses on the production of heavy steel fabrications. The position involves managing teams, processes, and compliance to the highest standards.

This role would suit a hands-on production leader with a background in metal fabrication, welding, or mechanical assembly. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, shop-floor environment and passionate about developing teams, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality in line with industry standards and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all aspects of industrial production, ensuring safety, quality, and timely output.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications in collaboration with design and engineering teams.
- Implement and monitor production schedules, coordinating with procurement and inventory teams.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing principles.
- Ensure full compliance with EN1090, ISO 9001, and relevant safety codes and standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Manager, Fabrication Manager or similar.
- Experience within Manufacturing with knowledge of Welding processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 3834 & EN 1090 desirable.
- Strong leadership skills.
Location: Thornton-Cleveleys
Contract: Permanent
Salary: circa £50k (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: (Mon-Thurs) & (Fri) (Apply online only)
