We are currently recruiting for a General Labourer to join a busy and close-knit manufacturing team on an urgent basis. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the shop floor and maintaining high housekeeping standards across the facility. Ideal for someone reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The Role

  • General shop floor cleaning and housekeeping
  • Replenishing oils and coolant supplies
  • Emptying swarf bins, waste bins, and recycling containers
  • Supporting general labouring duties across the facility
  • Assisting operational and service teams where required
  • Maintaining a safe, tidy, and organised working environment at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) experience preferred
  • Counterbalance FLT experience advantageous
  • Training can be provided for candidates without a current licence (FLT experience required)

  • Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:45pm
