We currently have a unique opportunity to join a small, agile engineering team working closely with researchers and scientists to develop pioneering scientific instrumentation. The role involves designing bespoke analogue electronics with Altium, from initial concept to testing and integration, with a strong focus on analogue and high voltage systems. This position is well-suited to an experienced electronic engineer who thrives in a hands-on role and enjoys tackling complex technical challenges. It would particularly appeal to someone who is comfortable working independently in a close-knit team, with a practical, problem-solving approach and a passion for contributing to cutting-edge scientific research. It\’s hybrid working, meaning you\’ll get 2 days from home every week. Key Responsibilities Design and develop custom analogue and high voltage circuitry using Altium Carry out schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping and testing Collaborate with scientists and engineers to deliver practical solutions Support and maintain existing designs, resolving technical issues Ensure compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards In return you\’ll receive a salary up to £50k, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, a company pension matched up to 8%, Free on site parking and an Annual Pay Review amongst others benefits.
