We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join a well-established controls team, taking ownership of projects from initial concept through to commissioning. The role involves PLC/HMI/SCADA programming (primarily Siemens), electrical design work, and producing comprehensive project documentation. Primarily office-based with occasional travel for testing and commissioning.

This role would suit a highly skilled and technically confident professional with a strong background in automated control systems. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and program PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, particularly Siemens-based platforms, across various sectors.
  • Create detailed technical documentation including Functional and Software Design Specifications.
  • Design electrical distribution and control systems using AutoCAD.
  • Attend site visits and meetings to provide technical expertise during FAT/SAT and commissioning.
  • Prepare test documentation, tender specifications, O&M manuals, and RAMS.

In return you'll receive a salary up to £60k, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Private Health, and a pension matched up to 4.5%.
