This role involves leading electrical compliance installation projects across a varied UK client base. The position focuses on machinery safety upgrades, control panel modifications, ATEX installations, inspections and remedial works, delivering high-quality, compliant solutions within industrial and manufacturing environments while working closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

This position would suit an experienced Electrical Leader or Industrial controls electrician who enjoys leading small teams and taking ownership of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of 5 delivering electrical compliance installation works
  • Oversee machinery safety upgrades, control panel remedials and ATEX installations
  • Support mobilisation, scheduling and delivery of electrical projects
  • Carry out toolbox talks to ensure the team understand the task at hand
  • Act as a point of contact for the client
  • Ensure quality, compliance, testing and commissioning standards are met
  • Produce reports and maintain accurate project documentation

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering qualification (BTEC, NVQ, or similar)
  • 18th Editions qualification
  • Experience within Manufacturing / Factory environments
  • Leadership experience and/or qualities
  • Knowledge of ATEX, DSEAR, CompEX 01-06 desirable

Permanent

Salary: £42k - £47k + Overtime + Benefits + Mileage (OTE circa £60k+)

Location: Peterborough + UK Travel

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, typically 7am-5pm, flexible with overtime available.
