Are you a Contract CNC Machinist looking for continental shifts? Immediate Starts. We are currently recruiting for one of the UK\’s largest Defence Organisations and require CNC Machinists – Heavy Machine Shop experience required. You will be required to set and operate CNC Machines including: Reading and comprehending engineering drawings to ensure machined parts Setting up and operating CNC large gantry based machines, retrieving and inputting CNC programs from the network as per the appropriate paperwork. Measuring, examining, and visually inspecting components to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometres and verniers according to drawing specifications. These are ongoing contract positions working 12 hour days 4 on 5 off 5 on 4 on.
