As a Commissioning Engineer, you will work with state-of-the-art CNC machine tools, Siemens PLC/CNC controls, and sophisticated automated machinery that is shaping the future of precision engineering.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Commission and test advanced CNC machine tools and automation equipment both on-site and in factory environments, ensuring seamless system integration from installation through to handover.
  • Configure and load Siemens PLC/CNC controls, testing electrical control circuits, safety systems, and variable speed drives to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults across automated systems, including motors, actuators, robotics, MCCs, and industrial instrumentation.
  • Produce commissioning records, as-built drawings, functional specifications, and technical files in line with EC/UK regulations and GAMP guidelines.
  • Deliver technical handovers to clients, providing on-site training and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Support installation phases by liaising with project managers and customers.
