CNC Programmer / Miller Chorley £18.91 per hour + Weekly Pay 37-Hour Week | Early Finish Every Friday Overtime Paid at 1.5x | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Immediate Start | Permanent Position The Company Our client has over 35 years' experience and is one of the North West's leading engineering, fabrication and machining businesses. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer/Miller to join their expanding team in Chorley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-established business offering long-term career prospects within a modern engineering environment. The Role As a CNC Programmer/Miller, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components, programming and operating CNC milling machines, and ensuring all work is completed safely and accurately. Your duties will include: Programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines. Programming using HAAS, Heidenhain or Fanuc controls. Manufacturing one-off and small batch precision components. Machining fabricated components and a variety of engineering materials, including exotic alloys. Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings. Selecting appropriate tooling, work holding methods and cutting strategies. Producing components to high quality standards. Working closely with the production team to meet customer deadlines. Maintaining excellent standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
