A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading advanced manufacturing facility producing high-quality components for industry. Working within a modern, technology-driven environment, you will provide vital engineering support across a range of automated production equipment, helping maximise uptime, improve reliability, and support operational excellence. This role would suit a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, with a strong electrical skillset. Ideal candidates will have strong PLC fault-finding capability and experience maintaining automated production machinery within automotive, FMCG, or similar sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support across a wide range of automated production equipment to maximise plant availability and performance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults to minimise production downtime.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
- Monitor machinery performance, investigate recurring faults, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with production teams to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Salary: £40,000-£49,000 per annum + OT
