An established engineering business specialising in steel fabrications for the nuclear industry is seeking an experienced Project Administrator for a six-month contract in Bristol. Supporting Engineers and Project Managers, you will provide essential administrative assistance, maintain accurate documentation, manage information requests and help ensure activities are organised and progressed effectively across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to multiple Engineers and Project Managers, helping to organise workloads, information and outstanding requests.
- Prepare, update and maintain project documentation, spreadsheets, records, trackers and other administrative information using Microsoft Office.
- Proactively follow up requests for information and data, chasing colleagues and relevant stakeholders to ensure outstanding actions are progressed.
- Maintain accurate and well-organised documentation, supporting document control activities and checking records for errors, inconsistencies or missing information.
- Manage competing administrative priorities independently, taking ownership of tasks through to completion and seeking clarification where information or instructions are unclear.
Requirements:
- Proven experience within an Administrative role, preferably within Engineering, Manufacturing, or Energy sector.
- Self-sufficient, proactive, organised, and confident in your approach.
- Excellent IT skills using Word, and Advanced Excel skills.
Location: Bristol
Contract: 6 months (potential for extension, or permanent role).
Full Time: 37.5 hrs per week, Monday-Friday.
Pay Rate: £28k - £34k (dependent on experience).
