This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Welder looking for long-term job security, a 4-day working week and an excellent benefits package. Pay & Working Hours Starting Rate: £18.72 per hour After Probation: £19.22 per hour 4-Day Working Week Early Shift: 6:30am - 4:15pm Later Shift: 7:00am - 4:45pm The Role Primarily TIG welding stainless steel and Duplex stainless steel Fabricating and welding specialist engineered steel doors and components Working from detailed engineering drawings Grinding, drilling, polishing and mechanical assembly Producing high-quality welds capable of passing UT, MPI and other NDT inspections Working to tight tolerances and demanding quality standards Operating overhead cranes and workshop equipment What We're Looking For Proven TIG welding experience - essential Stainless steel and Duplex welding experience - essential Previous fabrication experience within precision or heavy engineering Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Formal welding or fabrication training Overhead crane certification - essential Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Own transport required Coded welding or mechanised welding experience would be advantageous.
