We're recruiting Semi-Skilled Fabrication Operatives to join a busy structural steel fabrication facility in Blackburn.
The Role
- Assisting within a busy fabrication shop
- Grinding and finishing fabricated steelwork
- Drilling steel components
- Operating guillotines and other fabrication equipment
- Using overhead cranes (preferred)
- Supporting welders and fabricators to meet production targets
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a welding or fabrication environment
- Experience using grinders and drills
- Guillotine and overhead crane experience advantageous
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work safely in a heavy engineering environment
Hours
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 3:15pm
Contract Pay Rates
- First 40 Hours: £19.26 per hour
- Over 40 Hours (Mon-Fri): £22.92 per hour
- Saturday: £25.78 per hour
- Sunday: £34.38 per hour
Regular overtime available.
