Introduction

ES Recruit are currently recruiting for a Machine Clean-Out Labourer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. As a Machine Clean-Out Labourer, you will play a key role in maintaining production equipment and ensuring machinery operates efficiently. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing, industrial environments, production, labouring, maintenance support, or machine cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out machine clean-outs across the production facility
  • Clean conveyors and production machinery
  • Replenish coolant systems and machine oils
  • Support the service and maintenance team with daily tasks
  • Assist with general labouring duties throughout the workshop
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace cleanliness
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
  • Support the smooth running of production operations

Requirements

  • Comfortable with manual handling and labour-intensive work
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
  • Able to work safely within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Good communication skills and a strong team ethic.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, production, warehouse, or industrial environments
  • Experience cleaning machinery or supporting maintenance teams
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) experience would be advantageous but is not essential
