This company is seeking a skilled and motivated Access Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time permanent role that offers a competitive starting rate of £160 per day, with opportunities for progression based on performance. Key Responsibilities of the Access Engineer:

  • Install, configure, and commission access systems, including automated gates and intercoms.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical security gates, barriers, and entry systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults across gate automation, intercoms, and basic network connections.
  • Service and maintain audio/video intercom systems, including IP-based systems.
  • Carry out upgrades to gate motors, control panels, and access control equipment.
  • Ensure all systems comply with relevant electrical and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Provide timely responses to breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
  • Maintain accurate service records and report on completed work.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to deliver effective access solutions.

Qualifications for the Access Engineer:

  • A full clean UK Driving License is required.
