We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Draughtsperson to join a business who have had huge investment over the last few years, with a new heavy engineering product range to complement their 100 years of trading in the Defence sector. This role involves producing and maintaining technical drawings and documentation using CAD and PDM software. Your contributions will be essential for developing new products, refining existing ones, and supporting various business functions with technical information. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented engineer with strong CAD and PDM skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment. If you have a passion for creating precise technical drawings and documentation, and enjoy supporting product development and manufacturing processes, this position will suit you perfectly. Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings for design solutions within the Engineering Design team.
- Check, edit, and maintain drawings and other technical documentation.
- Prepare technical documents such as specifications, reports, manuals, and procedures.
- Support hardware development and testing.
- Liaise with suppliers and purchasing functions to provide accurate design information.
In return you'll receive a salary up to £40k, + 7% pension contributions from the client and 25 days holiday + Bank holidays!
