Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out multi-layer fillet and full penetration V butt welds to meet NDT standards.
  • Work to BS EN ISO1090-2 structural steel requirements and interpret welding symbols accurately.
  • Follow detailed drawings, welding procedures, and oral/written instructions.
  • Complete fabrication tasks such as notching beams, marking out on tube and plate, and hatch cutting.
  • Participate in ongoing quality checks and contribute to a safe, efficient working environment.
