We are working with a fantastic family-owned Manufacturer in the heart of Rossendale that have seen exceptional growth in the last 5 years, Designing, Manufacturing & Selling Special Purpose Machinery to the FMCG industry. We have an excellent opportunity to join their team as a Sales Engineer and boost your career!
This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in Sales Engineering. Or perhaps you come from an Engineering background and have the drive and skills needed within Business Development.
If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for customer service, and enjoys problem-solving, this role will suit you perfectly. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with different departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to gather accurate information for preparing quotations.
- Create detailed and cost-effective quotations promptly, ensuring accuracy.
- Follow up on quotations and maintain communication through meetings, emails, and phone calls.
- Manage queries and client relationships throughout live projects, attending meetings as necessary.
- Collaborate with the project team and other departments, assisting when required.
- Visit customers and prospects at least once a week, with some EU travel throughout the year.
In return you\’ll receive a salary up to £60k, 25 days holidays + Bank holidays, which increase with tenure, an excellent commission scheme (OTE £100k+), all for a 34 hours a week!
