An exciting opportunity for a Welding, NDT & Coatings Inspector in the Quality Department has arisen. The role, based in Chester, involves close collaboration with external suppliers and internal quality and production teams. The primary focus is to ensure the delivery of conforming products through anticipatory, monitoring, and improvement actions with suppliers.

You must hold a CSWIP 3.1, PCN Level 2 PT & MPI, and a Painting/Coatings certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct raw material inspections on-site and at supplier locations.
- Perform welding, NDT, and Painting/Coatings inspections as needed.
- Generate and review documentation, procedures, and release certificates.
- Review Life-Time Quality Records (LTQRs).
- Ensure compliance of controlling documents at all manufacturing stages.
Requirements:
- CSWIP 3.1
- PCN Level 2 in Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT / MPI)
- Painting & Coating certification - BGAS, CIP, ICORR, NACE or similar
- Experience within Nuclear or MOD highly advantageous.
- Experience with Life-Time Quality Records (LTQRs) preferred.
Salary: £55k - £65k + Mileage.
Location: Hereford area (with travel to suppliers around the UK)
Benefits: 25 days holiday + BH, 8% and above combined pension, sick pay, 4 x death in service, travel expenses, training opportunities.
Working Hours: 37.5 hrs Mon-Fri, early finish Friday.
