The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This position would suit a meticulous QA/QC professional with strong experience in MEP building services across both mechanical and electrical installations. It is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining high quality standards on complex projects, has strong technical knowledge of M&E systems, and is confident coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, management and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Review mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and quality plans to ensure compliance.
- Conduct inspections on electrical systems (containment, cabling, panels, LV/MV systems, generators, UPS) and mechanical systems (pipework, HVAC, ductwork, plant rooms and associated equipment).
- Utilise ACC AutoDesk Construction Cloud system.
- Witness and verify testing and commissioning activities, including electrical testing and mechanical pressure, flushing and functional performance tests.
- Identify non-conformances, raise NCRs and monitor corrective actions through to close-out.
- Compile and maintain inspection records, test packs, redline drawings, as-built documentation and QA/QC reports.
Requirements
- Proven QA/QC experience on M&E / MEP Installation projects - Construction
- Experience with ITPs, NCRs.
- Experience with ACC system - AutoDesk Construction Cloud
Location - initial project Chichester, West Sussex.
Contract - Competitive CIS rates available OR Permanent - Negotiable, dependent on experience.
